ANGER
A fire burning in the heart
a volcano erupting with fury
a wave of rage that overwhelms
everything in its path
Reason becomes cloudy
the mind becomes foggy
and the heart hardens
like a stone that feels nothing
But then, like a summer storm
the anger subsides
and gives way to calm
and reflection
The memory remains
of the words spoken
of the actions done
and the pain caused
A warning to control
the anger that burns within
to seek peace
and forgiveness.

ഇംഗ്ലീഷിലും ഇറ്റാലിയിലും കവിതകളും കഥകളും എഴുതുന്ന ഉഷാ ജോർജ്, ‘സോളോ അമോറിസ് ‘, ‘ഹൃദയ സ്പന്ദനം’ എന്നീ കഥാ സമാഹാരങ്ങളും ‘പൂനിലാവ്’ എന്ന കവിതാ സമാഹാരവും ‘ചിന്തയുടെ ചിന്തേരുകൾ’ എന്ന ലേഖന സമാഹാരവും പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.
